This Rail Safety Week we want to remind customers and other road users to always look, listen and be alert around trams.

Newcastle Transport is spreading awareness about the importance of safety around the light rail this Rail Safety Week (10 – 16 August 2020). We want all road users to remember that rail safety is everyone's responsibility.

Following NSW Health advice, wearing a face mask while using public transport is strongly recommended.

It’s now easier than ever to pay for public transport because contactless payments are available on all public transport in NSW.  You can use a contactless credit or debit card or linked device for Adult Opal fares and get the same travel benefits as Opal.
