⚠️ Bus Service Disruptions on Monday 22 September 10am to 2pm
On Monday 22 September, there will be bus disruptions due to planned industrial action. Newcastle Transport bus services, including On Demand, will not operate from 10am to 2pm.
Bus services will resume from approximately 2pm on Monday 22 September.
Newcastle Transport light rail and ferry services will continue to operate as normal.
Customers are encouraged to plan ahead and consider alternative transport options during this time.
⚠️ Ferry Service Disruptions
Tuesday 23 September
Buses will replace ferry services from 10pm until 11.05pm due to maintenance.
Buses will depart every 30 minutes from Stockton and Queens Wharf from 10pm.
Please allow additional travel time.
⚠️ Service Alert – Parkway Avenue
Due to roadworks along Parkway Avenue, temporary changes will be in place between Tuesday 19 August and Friday 31 October.

⚠️ School Service Alert – Vista Parade
Due to a change in traffic conditions along Vista Parade, the following stops will be closed permanently from Monday 4 August:
A new school stop (228938) will be installed opposite 121 Princeton Avenue.

Long term bus stop closures:
121 Lookout Rd, New Lambton Heights
Due to the extension of the Newcastle Inner City Bypass bus stop 121 Lookout Rd, New Lambton Heights (2305150) will be closed until early-mid 2025. Please use the bus stop on Lookout Rd, opposite Grandview Rd, approx 270m towards Charlestown Rd.
Queens Rd at Evescourt Rd
Due to building works, stop 230592 Queens Rd at Evescourt will be closed until further notice.
Please use stop 230591 Queens Rd at High St approx. 125m west fronting 65 Queens Road.
