Catch Ferry-tales on the Ferry, Superheroes on the Bus, or the Carnival on the Light Rail. Enjoy face painting, balloon twisting, and meet our friendly customer service team, ready to assist with all your transport questions.
- Ferry-tales on the Ferry – Stockton Wharf
Jump on a ferry, say hello and get your face painted! Plus, we’re encouraging you to dress up as one of your favourite fairytale characters! Make it a real adventure and visit the Stockton Playground and Skate Park when you head out to Stockton.

Note: in inclement weather, the event will move onto the ferry.
- Superheroes catch the Bus – The Corner, Charlestown Square
Hop on the bus and ride to The Corner, Charlestown Square to get your face painted by a superhero!

Time: 10am – 1pm
Location: The Corner, Charlestown Square
- Carnival on the Light Rail – Newcastle Interchange
Take a ride on the light rail all the way to Newcastle Interchange stop to find a carnival with balloon twisters!
