Looking for a fun, free activity to keep the kids busy these school holidays? The Newcastle Transport Scavenger Hunt is the perfect way to explore Newcastle and Lake Macquarie by bus, ferry or light rail — and spot some surprises along the way!

How it works:

  1. Download your scavenger hunt sheet or pick one up from the Newcastle Visitor Information Centre or the Hamilton Bus Depot at 89 Denison St, Hamilton.

  2. Plan your trip on any Newcastle Transport service.

  3. Spot and check off the items as you travel.

  4. Send in your completed sheet for a chance to win one of three transport-themed prize packs valued at $100!

Snap a pic during your adventure and tag us @newcastletransport on social media, email your completed sheet to us at contact@transport.info or drop it into the Hamilton Bus Depot for a chance to win!

Terms and Conditions:

  1. One entry per person. All main questions must be completed. Bonus questions are optional. 
  2. Competition opens at 9am on Friday 3 July and closes at midnight on Sunday 19 July. 
  3. Winners will be drawn by random computer generator at 10am on Monday 20 July.
  4. Winners will be advised by social media, phone or email on Monday 20 July. 
  5. If a winner does not collect their prize within one month, they will forfeit their prize and the prize will be redrawn.
