Opal system upgrade

From 4am to 10am Saturday 2 May, 2020.

On Saturday 2 May, 2020, Opal readers on Newcastle light rail services will not be operating. Customers will be unable to tap on/off.  Customers will also be unable to top up via transportnsw.info, on the Opal travel app or at Opal ticket machines.

Customers can top up with any local retailer. Local Opal retailers can be found here.
