Join the party on Newcastle Foreshore for New Years Eve!

Leave the car at home and catch public transport into the CBD. Don’t miss the Fireworks spectacular, shooting off from the Harbour at 9pm. Prepare to be wowed by the colourful, 12-minute display as we send off 2025 in style.

Getting there

· Light rail services will run every 7.5 minutes until midnight and then every 30 minutes until 1am.

· Bus routes 11, 13, 14, 21 and 23 will take you in and out of the CBD to a weekday timetable.

· Ferry services will be extended until midnight.

Please note there will be minor changes to bus services in the CBD, with buses travelling along Hunter Street and Scott Street instead of King Street from 6pm to midnight.
